PTLLS - Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector - is the first step towards becoming qualified as a teacher in the post-16 sector. All those who are involved in delivering publicly funded learning programmes must achieve QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills) or ATLS (Associate Teacher Learning & Skills) status. Assessment UK provides training providers with flexible opportunities for their staff to take this first step on the road to qualification.
