Literacy

The ability to communicate effectively in the workplace is vital for everybody.  We all need to be able to communicate with other people and to understand what they are trying to communicate to us.  We need to be able to read and make sense of all kinds of literature at work, from simple Health and Safety signs to written instructions on how to operate machinery.  There are also times when we need to communicate in writing, so our writing skills also need to be effective.

Assessment UK's Adult Literacy courses are designed to improve people's skills in all of these areas.  Following an initial assessment of their needs, our skilled and experienced tutros will work with learners to ensure that the development they undertake is tailored to their individual requirements.  The courses run for 2 hours a week and last for 10 weeks, and our tutors are exceptionally skilled at making them enjoyable for all participants.
